SSO Physical Security Specialist

Advantage SCI, LLC is accepting applications for a Special Security Officer Physical Security Specialist to be considered for immediate employment for a DoD agency in Fort Meade, MD.

Summary of Duties:
Consolidate and maintain all documentation for SCI facilities (SCIF) and perform on-site inspections
for compliance.

Maintain SCIF binders, all paperwork and accreditation information for SCIFs, SAPFs, and collateral facilities

Support group building project security requirements

Coordinate Organization Inspection Program (OIP) inspections pertaining to physical security

Recommend updates to existing physical secuirty and Force Protection policies and review draft new policies.

Create and update physical security SOPs

Coordinate with National Security Agency (NSA) regarding new construction or updates to existing SCIFs

Create and update Emergency Action Plans and SCIFs standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Physical Security Special Access Programs (SAP): Maintain SAP binders for all SSO SAPFs.

Be responsible for all security requirements pertaining to DoD building projects.

Assist with reviews for access requests, processing the access requests and interfacing with the program PSM on personnel security matters pertaining to SAP

Inspections: Prepare for Inspector General (IG) inspections regarding physical security.

Responsible for OIP inspections pertaining to physical security;

Coordinate with Program Security Manager (PSM) regarding new construction or updates to existing SAP facilities.

Antiterrorism (AT): Be responsible for adhering to all policy, procedures, statues and regulations associated with supporting Military Operations Antiterrorism and working groups established under the SSO and the tasks being performed for force protection and physical security support. Maintain the AT plan, OPORD and track AT training.

Support access control program that may include but not llimited to: making badges and tracking access to SAP facilities, and escort duties as required

Meeting Support: Participate in Government meetings as required to meet the mission or as designated by the DoD site SSO. Meeting types include, but are not limited to: coordination meetings, customer meetings, respective Command staff coordination meetings and external coordination meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen
You must possess an active TOP Secret/SCI Clearance
Physical Security Specialist Qualifications: 6 years of comparable experience in managing collateral and SCI spaces and security personnel.You must complete a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
Demonstrated high-level proficiency in oral and written communications and experience in interviewing.
Must be able to Travel CONUS and OCONUS
Be experienced in Microsoft Office products to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Be experienced in conducting briefings
Be available for flexible hours (to include evenings and weekends)
Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Working Conditions
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
