OMNISEC International Security Services, Inc., a subsidiary of OMNIPLEX, is seeking qualified applicants to fill upcoming openings for Personnel Security Specialists in the Chantilly, VA area.

POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS CATEGORY 2

Job Duties: The duties include, but are not limited to: Answer questions concerning the processing and status of Personnel Security Investigations requests, make eligibility determinations on crossover cases, and respond to customer requests. Interface with Government Agencies and Industrial partners for obtaining, processing, verifying, and disseminating personnel security information and access to the Government. Provide accurate and timely operations and administrative support to the case Analysts and Adjudicators. Demonstrated customer service and telephone skills. Database Entry. Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen;
Must be at least 18 years of age;
Must have High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred;
Must have a minimum of 3 years in the Personnel Security field (Background Investigations, Counterintelligence, or Personnel Security Specialist)
Must possess the ability to conduct and interpret database checks;
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio), Internet, E-mail.
Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or regulatory agencies;
Must have a high level of personal integrity and the ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal, and classified information;
Must have excellent organizational skills, including ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and have a good customer service attitude.
Must have the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the employer’s and/or customer’s organization;
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio), Internet, E-mail.
Current Top Secret/SCI level security clearance with a CI polygraph required.

Level II position - must meet all basic qualifications and:
Must have three (3) years related experience.
Must provide timely and accurate customer support to the Customer and Industry partners, other Government agencies, including State and Local Governments.
Practical expertise in Adjudicative process with an understanding of the SCI and Collateral classification issues.
Experience in generating and managing response documents under the appeals process as defined under ICD704.
Strong briefing and presentation skills.
Must have in-depth knowledge of the US DOD PA/FOIA guidelines.
Ability to develop and maintain strong efficient and professional working relationships with all customers.
Make recommendations to the Government related to appeals and PA/FOIA processing questions.
Practical experience in review and treatment, and release of documents in accordance with the Privacy Act.
Must have experience processing personnel records as they relate to background investigations and working knowledge of ICD 704 and E.O. 12968 guidelines.

Level III position - must meet all basic qualifications and:
Bachelors degree and five (5) years experience or twelve (12) years related experience.

Other Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing;
Must be able to successfully complete a security screening interview;
Must pass criminal and credit history record checks;
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and polygraph;
Must meet client suitability.
