Director of Security is responsible for providing a safe and secure hotel environment for our guests and associates through effective leadership to our security team. Prior law enforcement, security or other military experience is preferred; a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in the security industry is required.

This position is responsible for managing the Security department for the entire resort. They are the key contact for Safety as well and Guest Incidents with investigations.
The position requires the ability to work any days and nights, including weekends and holidays as the department is operated 24/7.
Must also lead the Emergency Response Team and ensure Resort wide training for Safety and Security.
Streamsong is located on a 16,000-acre site in Polk County, Fla., between Tampa and Orlando. Specifically, the resort location is approximately five miles west of the town of Ft. Meade, near the Polk-Hardee County line on the south, Fort Green Road to the west, State Road 630 West along most of the northern perimeter, and District Line Road along most of the eastern boundary.
The resort will open in two phases. The golf courses, the golf clubhouse and its associated meeting and dining facilities opened in December 2012. The main lodge, conference center and all other resort amenities are expected to begin welcoming guests in January 2014.
Streamsong Resort will include 216 guest rooms in the resort’s main lodge; 12 guest rooms in the golf course clubhouse; approximately 18,500 total square feet of meeting space; two 18-hole golf courses designed by renowned architects, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw of Coore & Crenshaw and Tom Doak of Renaissance Golf Design; three restaurants and two lounge areas; a full-service spa; a lakeside swimming pool; unparalleled Florida bass fishing and other outdoor activities such as birding, hiking and nature trails, and sporting clays.
