The Position
Position is to manage a comprehensive security program supporting senior executive members of the
company in accordance with Corporate Security Directive. Support may include but not limited to the following services: ground transportation, office security, incident monitoring around the executives, security for high-level meetings, and open-source intelligence gathering of threats to executives. On a daily basis, position will liaison with executive offices, executive meeting & event planners, visiting VIPs, and eligible family members or guests. Position will also have the role of a decision maker in identifying which special service request can be provided, balancing the usage of available resource such as staffing from other security groups to provide the appropriate support.
Responsibilities:
Manage requests for executive support in a timely manner. Responsibilities include pre-planning & assignment follow-up, scheduling, equipment & staff readiness, and collaboration with both internal and executive support staff.
Perform responsibilities of a project manager in leading Security to support special projects such as executive meetings and events at both on-campus and off-site locations.
Be available 24×7 to give directions to security and executive support staff in addressing and resolving security, safety, and service related issues, and to manage incidents or situations that may affect executive members.
Manage a pool of executive support staff from different security groups to include maintaining a training program, scheduling, equipment management, and other personnel management accountabilities within program budget. This includes approving of invoices associated with expenses and cost from services under this program.
Identifies security and/ or safety risks and threats that may affect the health and welfare of executives.
Perform responsibilities of a Security Program Manager for Off-site Meetings & Events as a substitute to provide temporary coverage or as an additional support

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 7 years of security experience in Corporate Security with at least 2 years of in a supervisory role..
Minimum 5 years of providing executive support to senior members of a company mainly security services and some administrative support.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing and responding to security and safety incidents.
Minimum 5 years of experience of supervising corporate meetings and events security. Experience in supporting high level meetings or events involving executives is a plus.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, & LICENSES:
High school diploma or equivalency and some college units preferred.
Training in Executive Protection
Training in Protective and Evasive Driving
Training and certifications in incident management, emergency medical response, HazMat response, and other emergency response.
Training from military, law enforcement, or other security organizations.
Driver’s license and clean DMV record with no felonies.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communications skills in listening, verbal, and written, and strong interpersonal skills.
Computer skills on the latest office technology, hardware, and software.
Trustworthy, respectful of privacy for both business and personal information.
Well-groomed and well-mannered.
Ability to use good judgment, quickly solve problems, make decisions in emergency situations, and deescalate issues both in the field and management level
Excellent planning, organization and leadership/management skills.
Ability to travel both domestic and overseas in short notice
