The Crowne Plaza Dubai, an upscale hotel brand located along Sheikh Zayed Road with over 568 rooms, 13 international restaurants and bars, and has one of the largest meeting, conference
and banqueting facilities in the UAE, is currently looking to recruit a Director of Security& Safety.

This role will lead the Security department of the hotel to ensure completion and compliance of all Company and hotel policies and procedures and government regulation standards on safety and security. You will be responsible for the security and safety of the hotel's premises and properties and ensure the overall safety of all guests and employees and their personal belongings. Your main responsibilities include but not limited to training or educating employees on current safety issues, security and fire protection to ensure compliance with all Company loss control policies; schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to Security equipment as needed and ensure that equipment is prepared and operational for the following day's work. You may perform other duties as assigned and may serve as "manager on duty" as required.
You need to have at least 2-5 years experience in a similar role with a 5* hotel and in a similar capacity and/or military/law enforcement experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified CPR, First Aid instructor and training in law enforcement techniques desired. Having a working knowledge of local laws, investigation methods, OSHA requirements and fire codes and life safety codes is preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. You will bring with you strong management skills and ability to analyse metrics/statistics, prepare action plans and communicate in written reports is required.
