Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage daily security operations for multiple Harley-Davidson domestic facilities by providing clear leadership and direction to all site security personnel. This position is also responsible for developing policies and managing programs to protect site facilities, properties and employees; managing corporate strategies for contingency and crisis planning; managing and administering corporate security programs at assigned facilities; conducting investigations and serving as a liaison with community, local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. This position will have the following areas of focus:
 Corporate Operations – primary area of responsibility for Corporate Headquarters, Museum, and Special Events (e.g. Core Events, Dealer Meetings, Shareholder Meetings and Board of Directors meetings).

Education Required:
This position requires a Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Required:
This position requires:

- At least ten (10) years of job related experience in a manufacturing and/or corporate environment including five years supervisory responsibility in a physical security management position and five years experience conducting a variety of criminal and background investigations;
- Expertise in the area of loss prevention, criminal investigation and government interface;
- Ability to clearly and effectively present information and ideas through articulation, and to influence or persuade others;
- Ability to write clearly and accurately document activities;
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict management skills;
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and employees;
- Ability to be attentive to all aspects of the environment, to conform to established policies and procedures, to organize and schedule people to task and to develop realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability;
- Outstanding networking and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to interpret data and provide statistical support;
- Ability to manage a corporate loss prevention/security program with a proven track record of implementing and sustaining comprehensive security programs;
- Basic understanding regarding physical security electronic hardware and software technology to include electronic controlled access systems, surveillance systems and information data security programs;
- Understanding regarding concepts of intellectual property protection;
- Proven leadership in crisis management and disaster prevention/recovery, uniform incident command as well as other related programs; and
- Strong computer skills.

This position requires travel to other locations on a regular basis (up to 20% travel with the potential for extended stay). Well-established security contacts within the private and public sector is a plus. International security experience, executive protection and special event security experience is a plus.
