Safety and Security Supervisor

Employer: Moevenpick Hotel Deira
Location: Dubai
Key Duties 

  • Diligently patrol and/or stand post throughout the property including exterior and interior areas.
  • Proactively report any problems encountered at any point during the shift to the appropriate department, such as light bulb out, spills, wall or floor marks, etc.
  • Greet guests throughout the property.
  • Communicate clearly on hotel and security radio and phone systems.
  • Respond to calls for help coming from anyone in the property. This can include security threats, medical emergencies, and fires. Either resolve the incident or triage the incident until emergency authorities arrive.
  • Provide traffic and crowd control through clear, polite and concise verbal communication.
  • Utilize advanced CCTV, access control and other security systems to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Safely escort unruly or intoxicated individuals from the property. Many hotels have bars and nightclubs located on the property and count on the security guard to maintain order by directing drunks to taxis or friends for transport out of the building.
  • Security Officers are a key part of the hotel team. This means they may be asked to help deliver room service or give a tour of the hotel to a guest. Security Officer must be open to providing such assistance as needed.
  • Provide initial investigation into incidents, such as injuries or property damage.
  • Be available to work any shift, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Other assignments as directed.

  • Create electronic Incident Reports.
