Static Armed Security (Proposal Requisition)

ACADEMI is currently answering a Request for Proposal to provide overseas static security guards. Applicants meeting the qualifications for this position may be considered, vetted, and asked for a signed release to use their resumes to present to the customer.
Any job offers extended are fully contingent on contract award, customer approval, obtaining any necessary security clearance, satisfactory background investigation and drug screening results, meeting all physical, academic, skills, and language requirements, meeting the medical requirements for the position, and successful completion of any required pre-deployment training.

Required qualifications:
U.S. Citizen
Provide a color copy have a valid U.S. passport (tourist)
Fluency in English language (Written and oral)
Possess a Military or Police background or have equivalent training.
Provide copy of DD 214 if prior military (member 4 copy with honorable discharge)
Be at least 25 years of age
Must be able to pass a pre-deployment physical (must be less than 40% body mass index)
Must be able to pass a physical fitness test (PFT)
Must be able to don all required personal protective gear
May be male or female.
Female screeners must be available to search females as male screeners must be available to search males
Must be able to qualify on primary weapons
Shall have the ability to become properly trained and qualified on any Non-Lethal Weapons (NLW) that is recommended by the coalition forces.

Duties and responsibilities:
Perform internal guard services that include, but are not limited to:
Vehicle and personnel entry control points (ECPs)
Man perimeter towers
Perform roving patrols
Conduct BDOC operations


Working conditions:
Guards shall be limited to a work week of not more than 72 hours per week
Able to perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow.
