Responsible for providing tactical and strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the corporation’s global security initiatives in Lubrizol’s chemical manufacturing operations.
This is an experienced professional with knowledge in the security field. This position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of programs, standards and initiatives in security, compliance, and management
systems. This is a visible position requiring interaction with all levels of the organization.
1. Manage the tactical and strategic corporate security initiatives.
• Manage implementation of national security guard contract
• Manage corporate security technology initiatives
o Milestone video management system
o S2 card access and security system
o Coordinate and unify system implementation and support efforts between Corporate IS and the regional and local administrators
• Manage aspects of DHS/CFATS security implementation requirements
o Recommend and assist with security measures necessary to meet Site Security Plan commitments
o Support CFATS regulatory compliance
• Conduct security vulnerability assessments globally
• Conduct security audits globally
• Support physical site security design
• Support global security standards
• Support investigations of security incidents and threats
2. Coordinate global security systems administration.
3. Supervise ½ FTE of non-local security systems program support personnel.
4. Assist in project implementation across all functional areas of HSES as needed.
5. Travel requirements
• Position requires domestic and international travel to support site security initiatives
• Travel away from home office is estimated around 15%
6. Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
• Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
• Five to seven years related experience
• Plant manufacturing experience
• Proven project management experience
• Strong organization skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of security regulations and industry standards
• Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment
• Strong influencing skills
• Ability to work successfully with internal and external customers in a professional manner
Considered a Plus:
• Chemical manufacturing experience
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification (Preferred)
