Overview
The Regional Security Manager is responsible for the communication, training, and implementation of security programs in a multi-store region. This position partners with store leadership and regional teams to develop and implement strategies that protect company assets, enhance safety, ensure security, and deliver customer service.
Responsibilities
Safety
Develop blueprint for North America focusing on goals that tie in local security teams, store objectives and metrics that ensure accuracy and transparent results for objectives aimed at creating a safe environment for our customers and employees
Oversee emergency preparedness and incident management efforts (Tiffany Prepared) and serve as point person for the region/location during an emergency.
Drive security reviews for coverage markets to identify areas of vulnerability and to ensure a high level of security awareness and consistency of each security objective
Ensure the level of protection is executed during special events and during significant conveyance events and other high exposure activities
Monitor performance through the thorough examination of metrics seeking opportunities to report key performance indicators to our retail partners and key company executives for awareness and business process improvement
Drive the Tiffany prepared program for coverage markets ensuring completion of applicable audits for staff awareness and proper response in the event of emergencies or incident management.
Brand
Acquire, develop and maximize top talent through effective coaching and feedback, PMP process and talent maximization plans.
Ensure members represent the brand professionally and exceed the standards of our retail partners
Focus on the development of security teams and of Store Security Managers (dotted line), when applicable to both bring out their strengths and to enhance areas of opportunity for representing the brand
Communicate direction to respective markets and market leaders
Collaborate with retail partners by actively listening for opportunities to enhance your teams position for promoting the brand
Collaborate with training departments to create applicable training material that will promote and enhance the brands image in accordance with company direction and guidance
Drive performance to exceed standard results for TEI scores relative to the security team
Strategically organize travel in order to optimize presence in key areas while meeting outlined budgets helping to minimize costs
Regularly partner with regional market leadership, Security Director, and Human Resources to make recommendations regarding talent management and development, and to provide feedback on performance of security personnel.
Hard Target:
Drive Physical security standards to help ensure each location maintains a “hard target”
Oversee investigations and execute to completion when applicable ensuring proper communication, documentation, and follow-up with the appropriate partners partnering with police and other third party agencies, reporting results through security director
Key Focus on high shrink areas
Oversee the execution of all market related security events, shrink and investigations, training, partner on security mangers (dotted line) and effective representation of merchandise presentation standards and the use of policy and procedure to
ensure that Tiffany maintains a best in class security program.
Drive front door coverage to ensure a level of vigilance for each retail location.
Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements
2 year college/university degree.
5 years previous security management and investigation related experience with multi unit responsibility
Highest level of integrity.
Ability to communicate with customers and employees both verbally and written.
Strong computer skills.
Non-traditional working hours.
A sense of urgency that will lead to quick identification of problems and appropriate action.
An openness and ability to approach people and problems which will foster a spirit of cooperation and participation from all individuals toward a common goal.
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work with geographically remote individuals.
Must have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.
Must have the ability to obtain Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) designation within allotted time period.
