Responsible
for the day to day Security Operations supervision of the contract
Security Officers for a 7/24 hour operation. Manage requirements of the
National Industrial Security Program (NISP), develop and conduct staff
training programs, and coordinate crisis management response activities.
Develop security control center and access control system solutions for
improved operational efficiency. This position is a Relief Shift
Supervisor for second and third shifts to back fill supervisor personnel
on their days off.Basic Qualifications
Must be proficient in the use of computer applications (Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) and access control/closed circuit TV applications. Strong industrial security related experience, valid driver's license. Must hold or be able to obtain Department of Defense Secret clearance and a private security weapon license. Must be able to obtain HAZWOPER certification and have the ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work irregular hours, holidays, weekends, call-out and overtime.
Desired skills
Prior Military or Law Enforcement Experience, Computer Software applications related to Security, Report Writing Skills, with demonstrated leadership skills. Experience with administering and managing automated access control systems/CCTV/ and Central Monitoring Station operations. Knowledge of Underwriter Lab 2050, NISP and Closed Area construction. Experience in developing and presenting training materials to staff and others
