Responsibilities
Overall Job Objective: Plan, direct and coordinate activities relating to the protection of our people, premises, product, intellectual property, reputation, and profits.
Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates, and supervises Ferguson Enterprises, Inc.’s security operations processes and programs
Collaborates with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager on physical security requirements including CCTV, alarms, equipment, and personnel
Coordinates with GSOC Manager in the development and completion of security audits, surveys, and assessments
Oversees the corporate background screening and drug/alcohol program
Identifies and resolves security related problems
Develops preventative security related programs
Develops, implements, and manages corporate-wide security training
Reviews, receives, analyzes and assigns incident based reports
Conducts, supervises, completes and prepares reports relating to internal investigations
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates security related statistical data and departmental reports
Oversees emergency management and contingency planning processes
Functions as Ferguson’s liaison with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies as relevant to security related practices
Manages and coordinates, through subordinates, Ferguson’s activities and security functions, utilizing knowledge of established policies, procedures, and practices
Assigns or delegates responsibilities; provides work directives; resolves problems; and sets deadlines to ensure completion of operational security functions
Interprets and disseminates Ferguson’s policies to subordinate personnel; and evaluates employee performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years in a sworn law enforcement position
Minimum of 5 years as a law enforcement criminal investigator
Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory security management or law enforcement position
Bachelor's Degree (criminal justice, accounting or a related discipline) preferred
Certified Protection Professional credential preferred
Certified Fraud Examiner credential preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent phone etiquette
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as a team leader
Poise and maturity to interact with Ferguson management and other company executives .
