Job Description
The Corporate Security Manager will support the physical security, protection, and investigative
needs of the Enterprise within the Office of Global Security.The Security Manager will be responsible for managing the operation, support, and maintenance of security access control systems. The position will assist in developing and implementing local security policy and procedures as well as investigate internal policy violations, embezzlement, theft, internal and external fraud. The incumbent will be responsible for liaising with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies as well as industry peers to maintain knowledge of best practices.
Job Specific Responsibilities Candidate Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Implement physical security strategy for local facilities to ensure compliance with internal policies and client driven guidelines, as well as regulatory compliance.
Consistently monitor and respond to any changes in internal or external physical security requirements, such as PCI DSS standards.
Project management of all aspects of access control systems which include design, installation, and maintenance for existing locations.
Conduct or manage physical security site assessments for First Data facilities and develop mitigation plans for any identified vulnerabilities.
Oversee and manage access control, CCTV, and alarm systems globally.
Actively participate in internal and external audits to assure that organizational personnel are adhering to established policy and practices; recommend appropriate action to correct deficiencies and effectively implement remediation plans
Serve as a subject matter expert on physical security and provide input to the Regional Security Director on physical security-related programs and developments
Document reported cases of policy violations and malfeasance in case management system.
Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects.
Coordinate and communicate with appropriate business units and site leadership.
Provide insight and guidance on all security and investigative related issues to local leadership.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience or a combination of education and experience.
5+ years of physical security management experience in the private sector, government, or military.
Significant expertise in physical security implementation, risk assessment, and mitigation.
Understanding of physical security incident management and access control systems. The ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization, including senior corporate management.
10+ years of investigative experience in a law enforcement or corporate capacity.
2+ years in complex fraud investigations.
Experience in collecting, maintaining, and preserving physical evidence.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
Familiarity with CCure 800/9000 access control system
Executive Protection experience
