Job Description

As a global security professional at ExxonMobil, you will gain functional experience as well as an understanding of how Global Security develops and implements strategies to enhance ExxonMobil’s business performance. You will work under the guidance and mentoring of senior security professionals in a dynamic team environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with the protection of personnel, assets and information including enhancements as threat escalates and assists with the development of security business plans
• Support the planning and execution of security programs for selected Company events and Executive Protection assignments
• Coordinate with engineers to apply proven security technologies to global operations
• Conduct and coordinate investigations
• Assist in risk reduction efforts and the implementation of security program reviews, surveys and training
• Provide support to key business initiatives by developing and disseminating threat-related intelligence
• Establish and maintain liaison with local, state, Federal and national governments and law enforcement agencies in order to ensure the timely flow of intelligence and threat which may impact the security of personnel and operations
• Prepare threat assessments, security consideration summaries and corporate intelligence communications
• Assist in the development of security procedures and implementation plans for technical security projects and in the evaluation of existing systems to ensure operational effectiveness
• Develop strategies and plans for implementation of new or updated security practices, processes or requirements
• Participate in Emergency Response groups and deployments as appropriate

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in an area of study relevant to the position, or equivalent preferably in criminal justice area.
• Experience in law enforcement, intelligence or military organizations or in a security-related private sector job.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in law enforcement or security related private sector job.
• Robust experience providing security recommendations to senior managers based on identified threat assessments
• Experience working in or providing security advice for high threat locations / environments
• Knowledge of technical security hardware.
• Risk Management experience
