Security Investigator

We are currently hiring a qualified Security Investigator in our Houston TX Market. The position develops and administers policies and programs to ensure all facilities are in compliance with TSA requirements and have effective company security procedures and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Takes part in establishing and implementing DHL’s policies and procedures in regards to freight compliance
Plans and administers training programs and distributes materials pertaining to compliance
Inspects company facilities and recommends actions for the correction of hazardous situations.
Investigates accidents and security violations and completes or verifies resulting reports.
Investigates fraudulent claims in conjunction with insurance agencies
Investigates suspected incidents of illegal activity or cases of suspected fraud by employees, vendors or third parties
Maintains case management and evidence in accordance with legal requirements and resolves cases in an appropriate manner, which may include arrest, prosecution, corrective action, and recommendations to prevent future occurrences
Provides guidance, training and support at various locations
Key Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice strongly preferred
5 years experience in investigative/regulatory compliance environment
John Reid and Associates and/or Wicklander-Zulawski and Associates training preferred
Strong verbal and written communication problem solving and interpersonal skills
TSA Regulatory knowledge
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, database and web-based applications
Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
