Daily Responsibilities SRA is seeking a VP of Corporate Security to bring security oversight and consistency to ensure security policies and procedures are pertinent, value-added, cost effective, and threat appropriate. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Conduct site visits and provide on-going internal communications.
• Act as a close and continuing liaison with senior Intelligence Community directors, managers, and other customer security representatives.
• Network with other defense contractors and stay involved with a variety of industrial security networking groups.
• Act as advisor to the CEO and the CEO executive team and as corporate liaison with senior DoD Security and Policy officials on all security matters.
• Provide security guidance on all aspects of security to include personnel security, physical security, information security, technical security, facilities security, personnel/personal protection, and operational security.
• Manage the comprehensive security program for the corporation.
• Provide senior security leadership, mentorship, and oversight to subordinate personnel and ensure geographically dispersed security personnel are equipped with the tools and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively perform all security tasks.
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Provides security advice and guidance to the senior leadership team at SRA.
• Maintains liaison with senior customer security directors/managers and other contractors leading efforts to impact positive, value-added change.
• Ensures sites are adequately protected based on physical security site surveys against risk matrix and develops plans to mitigate same.
• Ensures sites have consistent, value-added security policies and procedures, to the extent that is practical, in order to maintain threat-appropriate countermeasures.
• Provides direction and leadership for security programs and personnel composing and delivering security awareness, training, and education.
• Manages the focus and direction of the Corporation’s Insider Threat Program
• Consults with local, state, and federal law enforcement and maintains liaisons with same in order to better integrate security countermeasures appropriate for site/area.
• Works closely with HR, Legal, Export Control, and other internal offices to ensure security practices are compliant and not in conflict with other business functions’ policies and procedures.
Required: Degree Masters
Required: Basic Qualifications Qualifications:
-Master’s Degree and at least ten years of relevant professional experience
Management experience
-TS clearance with SCI eligibility
-Comprehensive knowledge of security functions
-In-depth knowledge of security regulations and policies and best practices
-Ability to be submitted for a government background check and/or eligible for attainment of a government clearance
-Excels at operational excellence and performance
-Can be trusted with high level of sensitivity and confidentiality, when necessary
