Centerra is looking for an Armed Security Officer for our site in Eunice, NM.

Responsibilities:
The Security Officer is responsible for the protection of every person's safety on the site. Prevent and minimize fire, theft, damage and trespass on client premises. Provide access into secured area to persons with valid credentials and take appropriate action with all others. Report all unusual incidents or hazardous conditions. Complete rounds of assigned locations as requested. Monitor security desk consoles. Be familiar with and implement emergency fire or fire alarm procedures.

Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Must successfully pass a criminal and credit background investigation.
Must pass a preemployment drug screen and participate in random drug testing.
Will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for NACI (National Agency Check Inquiry).
Current New Mexico State Level III Guard certification preferred.
Prior law enforcement, military or private armed security experience preferred.
Must meet all Federal, State and Local requirements for SOs.
Must successfully pass physical examination to include a drug screen.
Must meet and maintain contract physical fitness requirements including ability to complete a half mile run in 4 minutes 40 seconds and a 40 yard dash in 8.5 seconds from the prone position.
