Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Research Analyst

APEX Expert Solutions is seeking candidates to work as an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Research Analyst to support a USSOCOM contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Identify and collect open source data to support multi-INT fusion analysis in a collaborative environment.
Use multiple data sources to provide gazetteer area studies/map overlaps and acquire unique primary source material for extraction compilation, and inclusion in intelligence assessments.
Maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones. Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods.
Position is located in the Washington DC Metro Area.

Job Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of analytical experience with DoD or equivalent Government agencies required with five years at the operational level with support to SOF operations
Completed two or more courses with the Open Source Academy including but not limited to: Essentials of Open Source Research, Open Source Fundamental, Social Media in Open Source Analysis, Open Source.gov Advanced Research, Critical Thinking and Analysis or Media Analysis.
Proficiency in utilizing intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
Strong briefing skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments
Firsthand experience targeting networks or individuals within networks and identifying vulnerabilities for exploitation.
Advanced targeting skills and a comprehensive understanding of the operational cycle as well as the data, tools, and techniques used for each phase of targeting.
Acute knowledge of SOF and/or counterterrorism intelligence experience is highly desirable.
Recent experience in Afghanistan, Iraq or other hostile fire zone supporting SOF operations
Ability to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable
Ability to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract.
An active TOP SECRET security clearance and SCI eligible
A valid U.S. passport
