Centerra is seeking a Watch Supervisor to work at our Memphis, TN location.

Responsibilities:
A watch Commander must have the capability to act and make decisions independently. The duties include, but are not limited to:
Verifying guard sign-in/out procedures; Provide guard briefings to in-coming officers on current activities and ensure guard knowledge is current. Watch commanders must visit and inspect each guard post (unless responding to other incident requiring immediate attention) and document post visit;
Provide a written summary of activities that occurred during his/her shift. Respond as needed to incidents and all other incidents as needed during their respective shifts and direct guard response activities; Be knowledgeable of all guard posts and site locations, and assert his/herself to resolve situations requiring immediate attention or report to the appropriate channels for necessary attention; Review all incident reports for accuracy and ensure completion prior to departing from workday.
Qualifications:
Each qualified candidate must possess a high-school diploma or a GED equivalency certificate along with basic computer operating skills. Must have firearms qualifications. Must have excellent communication skills.
At a minimum, must have one year of armed security, military or law enforcement experience and meet one of the following experience/education requirements: Proof of eligibility Verification of requirements need to be submitted along with the following:
Three years of security experience within the past five years; or an Associate’s Degree in a related field and at least one year of
Experience, or three years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience; or successful completion of Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST) course; or any reasonable combination of the above (i.e., plus one year of college course work related in the field).
