Job Description: Advantage SCI is accepting applications for a Security Escort to be considered for employment in Albuquerque, NM. This individual will provide direct support to a government customer on access control security to include verification of personnel entering at customer’s facilities, ensuring that prohibited items are not brought into spaces, and participating in exercises as required by the customer.

Summary of duties includes, but is not limited to:
• Perform access control duties such as verifying identities and clearance of individuals seeking access to the facilities
• Issue and conduct a hands-on badge check to visitors, contractors, or unrecognized persons
• Answer telephone calls, acknowledge each person, respond to inquiries or take messages and/or contact appropriate sponsor or POC
• Ensure that no prohibited items are brought into the site
• Conduct Random Anti-Terrorism Measures and participate, if applicable, in Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection exercises at the customer’s site
• Follow DoD and the Customer’s security policy at all times
• Exercise good judgment at all times and provide appropriate actions to counteract potential security infractions
• Report to COR all improper or suspicious behavior/activity within the work areas, courtyards, or in parking lots
• Follow chain of command and notify the lead concerning all questions, events, incidents, etc.
• Conduct a hands-on badge check of all visitors, contractors, or unrecognized persons
• Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports
• Provide customer service in a professional manner at all times which includes appearance, hygiene, and communication
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
• Must currently possess an active Secret clearance
• Possess 3-5 years demonstrated security and security administrative experience
• Possess additional demonstrated experience with and be familiar with the requirements of DoD 5200.02-R DoD Personnel Security Program and DoD 5200.08-R Physical Security Program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge with automated data processing systems used in support of access control operations for the customer.
• Knowledge of physical security regulations and visitor control procedures contained in the DoD 5200.01, DoD Information Security Program; DoD 5200.8-R, Physical Security Program 5230.1, Visits of Foreign Representatives; DoD 5220.22M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
• Must have a valid certification of completion in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge from Information Assurance Support Environment (Only valid within 30 days of hire). To obtain the certification, visit http://iase.disa.mil/eta/.

Working Conditions:
• Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Noise level: Low to moderate
• Possess binocular vision, which may be correctable to 20/20 and be able to hear ordinary conversation at 20 feet.
