Qualifications
Assists the Loss Prevention Manager in managing the daily function ofthe department to ensure protection of hotel assets, associates, guests andproperty. Train staff in established emergency procedures and implementsaccident and fire prevention procedure, ensure guest and associate satisfactionwhile achieving the operating budget.

Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure all associates accidents and guest liabilityincidents are reported in a timely manner.
Performs duties of the Loss Prevention Manager in hisabsence.
Ensures compliance with policies on proper investigativeprocedures for loss of hotel assets.
Ensure security staff is certified in first aid andCPR.
Strives to improve service performance.
Utilizes an open door policy.
Brings issues to the attention to the departmentmanager and Human Resource as necessary.
Ensures that hotel policies are administered fairlyand consistently.
Trains security staff to effectively monitor andprotect hotel assets.
Collaborates with the Loss Prevention Manager on waysto continually improve departmental performance.
Ensures proper documentation of property patrols ismaintained.
Helps associates and guests obtain necessary medicalattention on a timely basis.
Assists in the management of claims by ensuring properprocedures are followed and documented.
Sets a positive example for guest relations.
Celebrate successes and publicly recognizes thecontributions of team members.
Supervises security staff to effectively monitor andprotect hotel assets.
Handles guest problems and complaints effectively.
Communicates critical information to Loss Preventionofficers based on knowledge gained at pre- and post-convention meetings.
Assists in the development and implementation ofemergency procedures.
Trains staff on proper patrol procedures.
Reports any procedure violations to the LossPrevention Manager and appropriate management.
Assists in maintaining required OSHA programs andstatistical data.
Interacts with guests to get feedback on productquality and service levels.
Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmentalmeetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
Assists the Loss prevention Manager in establishingguidelines and training so associates understand expectations and parameters.
