Security Officer

Employer: Good Samaritan Society
Location: Albuquerque, NM

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for performing preventive oberservations, implementing security measures, assuring work areas are kept clean and keeping equipment in good working order.

Additional responsibilities of the Security Officer include:
Responding and assisting with emergency situations and urgent calls to ensure the safety and protection of the residents, visitors, and employees.
Using First Aid and CPR as necessary.
Documenting all completed work and tests performed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Officer
To qualify for the Security Officer, you must have effective communication skills and be able to work with individuals of all ages.

Additional requirements of the Security Officer include:
Ability to make independent decisions and function quickly and correctly in emergency situations.
1-2 years prior experience in law enforcenment/security management and/or military security experience.
Must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and a favorable motor vehicle driving record.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

PT position for Security in a retirement village setting performing building attendant duties. Some FA and CPR knowledge, a plus. Good wage and some benefits. Must be able to pass the Caregivers Criminal History Screening Program through the DOH and FBI. Some security experience is required. Join our Christian, not-for-profit environment.
