Job Description
Responsible for training and supervision of employees within his/her assignment.
Implement policies and procedures received from the client.
Oversee and direct activities of all security personnel assigned to the facility.
Maintain training records and testing programs for OJT and on-going training programs.
Maintain and coordinate scheduling of all security officers on the facility.
Audit job production reports to verify actual hours worked by Officers.
Conduct hiring Interviews for placement recommendation
Perform disciplinary actions on security officers as required. Coordinate all employee actions with the Operations Manager.
Coordinate scheduling of all replacement/extra coverage officers requested by client.
Set an example for ethics, demeanor and appearance for all security personnel.
Monitor all documentation for accuracy, completeness and readability prior to forwarding to ABM/Client Management.
Identifying areas where an enhanced security or safety posture is needed and to make timely notification of it to appropriate Management.
Meet with appropriate Client Representative at least once per week to discuss current security related matters and future planning.
Ensure compliance with contract, MTSA and MARSEC levels.
Perform all additional duties as assigned by Management.
Manages the development of security procedures, which establish ABM goals and objectives from information and directives received from the Client’s Property Management.
Reviews the results of the monthly audits of security equipment and recommends any maintenance or replacements to property management.
Maintains a working inventory of portable radio and communications equipment provides status reports, and recommendations on new equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Licensable by the state as a security officer
Have or be qualified to obtain the TWIC required by the TSA/USCG.
Should have at least 5 years experience combined in the security, service or related industry; with at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
Experience in a Petro-Chem setting is preferred.
Must have planning, training, organizational and subordinate development skills.
PC proficient, have experience along with strong verbal & written communication skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
