Description:
Duties: Serves as a Cl Personnel Security Specialist, specific duties and functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Coordinates Cl issues with government agencies, outside customers and employees.
• Processes counterintelligence information within established DOE/Office of the Director of National Intelligence guidelines and procedures.
• Reviews personnel security files for Cl concerns in support of the Cl Directorate.
• Utilizes the DOE Cl Case Management System.
• Coordinates with local Personnel Security Division.Education: Position requires the individual to have earned an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Individual must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an investigator or security adjudicator with a U.S.
government agency, able to cull relevant Cl information from documents maintained in Personal Security Folders
(PSF) on all employees of the DOE/NNSA.
TS/SCI or Q Clearance
Individual must display maturity in assessing issues, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and proven ability to perform under pressure
The individual must have current direct experience
conducting counterintelligence operations/investigations, or conducting personnel security investigations, managing/directing the awarding security clearances, protecting national security program information, including nuclear weapon program at DOE.
