Executive Protection Per Diem
Location: St. Louis, MO
The Security Specialists assigned to Executive Protection are responsible for the protection of company officers as they conduct official Monsanto business anywhere in the world. This position reports to the Manager of the Executive Protection Team. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive and professional personal protection for company executives.



The candidate must be able to interact professionally with personnel from other world areas and cultures and have experience in international and domestic travel. A Bachelors degree or certification in the security field is preferred.

Responsibilities:
•Perform effective protection measures to insure the security of the CEO on company business
•Serve on the protective team, as Lead Advance agent, or as the Detail Leader on protective assignments
•Coordinate protective details through the Manager of Executive Protection
•Conduct advances
•Provide personal protection
•Foster an environment of trust and confidence through exemplary integrity and professionalism
•Travel as necessary to provide protection and conduct advances
•Provide safe and secure ground transportation for company officers within the greater St. Louis area
•Prepare appropriate documentation
•Responsible for coordinating intelligence gathering using social media, threat analysis, and general intelligence activities
•Conduct investigations that involve threats against executive team members or Board of Directors
•Maintain high level of confidentiality with regards to Corporate Executives to include family contact information, residence locations, and residence security systems

•Available on-call for emergencies and be adaptable to constantly changing schedules which may include overtime hours, weekends, and holidays
•Ability to interact with other companies CEO's / government officials and their executive protection teams
•Must be able to interact professionally with personnel from other world areas and cultures and present concepts and ideas in a reasonable and logical manner


Secondary responsibilities:
•Conduct investigations
•Conduct Security Vulnerability Assessments
•Conduct training
•Support site operations through assignments to augment the uniformed patrol
•Other duties as deemed appropriate
•A Bachelors degree or commensurate technical education is preferred.
•Must be a communicator in all aspects - written, verbal, and able to present and lead large groups.
•Must be able to interact professionally with personnel from other world areas and cultures and present concepts and ideas in a reasonable and logical manner.
•Must understand personal protection concepts and have experience in international and domestic travel assignments.
•Must be self motivating, able to work without direct supervision, and understand security concepts and theories.
•A background in executive protection, law enforcement, investigations, military, physical asset security and or EMT / Paramedic is required.
•Organizational skills, time management, task completion are strongly desired attributes.
•Qualification as a Corporate Security Advisor (CSA) in accordance with Missouri Revised State Statute RSMO 571.030 is preferred.

Please note: this role requires the successful candidate to be physically fit, able to travel as necessary, work long hours, and carry luggage or other materials required for the mission. Must be able to physically detain, move, or arrest violent or aggressive individuals and make instant decisions regarding the wellbeing of the protected executive. Must be able to move quickly, run, pull, push, lift, bend, twist, climb, sit, stand, squat and have use of all faculties.

*Successful completion of a post offer fitness test is required for employment in this position.
