Security Manager / Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO)

Position Summary
The Security Manager/AFSO assists in planning, establishing, executing, and monitoring of all security procedures to comply with federal regulations for handling classified information and material. They are responsible for the daily security activities with multiple government agencies utilizing the NISPOM, NISPOM Overprint, DCIDs/ICDs and the JAFAN. The Security Manager reports to the Director of Security.

Responsibilities
Serve as the AFSO for the Company’s Headquarters and provides support to other cleared facilities in Reston, VA, Rome, NY and Raleigh, NC.
Provide program security assistance to Program Management.
Oversee visit and clearance processes and classified document control.
Manage all DD 254 documentation for the company.
Oversee Security Education Program.
Prepare and submit required security reports to DSS and other government agencies.
Act as the alternate COMSEC custodian.
Coordinate with and assist the Chief Information Systems Security Manager (CISSM) with classified systems support.
Provide security support (physical, personnel and information) for the company’s SCIF(s).

Qualifications
Prefer Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
10 years minimum security experience with 5 years of AFSO experience.
Experience with JPAS, eQIP, visit requests, clearance processing at the collateral, SAP and SCI levels and physical security requirements.
Experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and/or Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) is desired.
FSO Certification.
TS/SCI or SCI eligible
