Conducts investigations into any direct or implied threat to Facebook executives to include brand or proprietary risk issues. Coordinates Facebook’s response to workplace threats, and executes various types of investigative activities to support business requests and external inquiries. Interfaces with Company personnel across multiple business units and countries. Implements proactive and responsive investigative solutions. Promotes a positive environment compliant with laws, regulations, and Company policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • • Independently conducts investigations involving medium – high levels of complexity. • Provides expert consultative and problem-solving services to a variety of internal clients under general supervision from the Manager, Global Business Intelligence.
  • Analyze preliminary evidence, identify relevant evidence to be obtained, and develop investigative plans.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and orderly case file documentation and database records.
  • Manage privacy data security breach investigations.
  • Educates clients on policies, processes, procedures and guidelines and the relevance to the investigation at hand.
  • Understands client needs. Builds and fosters relationships with clients. Delivers service at a level expected by clients.
  • Works with clients to identifies solutions that meet business needs.
  • Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and execute to favorable outcomes.
  • Completes tasks within time and financial budget constraints.
  • Decisions and actions could have short-term impact on the organization.
  • Maintains complete confidentiality.

Requirements

  • B.S. required, security-related field preferred
  • CFE and CFI preferred
  • 5+ years investigative experience in private industry
  • Successful completion of training on various interview techniques
  • Must be proficient in Intelligence gathering disciplines, business report writing and the Microsoft Office suite of computer applications
  • Excellent oral communication skills
