Job Introduction:
The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Manager, Regional Office Security Operations. The Manager, Regional Office Security Operations will have oversight of the management and leadership of security operations at our client's regional offices.  The Manager, Regional Office Security Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day security operations of several geographically diverse locations and will be responsible for ensuring all security officers at these sites are in full compliance with all policies and procedures relating to security operations.

Role Responsibility:
  • Ensure contract training requirements are fulfilled (Basic, Additional, CPR/First Aid, Continuous Training, etc.)
  • Ensure all contractually defined security posts are staffed in accordance with the contract
  • Conduct regular assessment of direct reports to determine strengths and weaknesses, and develop plans to enhance strengths and performance
  • Advise the Project Manager, Quality Assurance & Regional Operations of our client sites’ staffing levels, operational status, and readiness
  • Oversee the effective utilization of security personnel to ensure staffing requirements are consistently met
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews of direct reports and empower personnel through  coaching and mentoring
  • Quarterly review and update (as necessary) General/Post Orders
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, Quality Assurance & Regional Operations and G4S branch offices on recruiting, on-boarding, and training qualified candidates
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, Dallas and Regional Operations to provide effective weekly training and meetings with security officers 
  • Coordinate with multiple G4S branch offices to ensure correct and timely payroll input
  • Manage overtime at all assigned locations within parameters defined by the Director, Strategic Accounts
  • Ensure compliance with contract provisions regarding client contacts at regional offices
  • Conduct security surveys of regional offices as directed by CSR
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct personal protection/executive protection operations
  • Plan and conduct drills and tests to ensure security personnel can perform their assigned duties in accordance with the contract and accepted security industry best practices
  • Perform as initial or lead investigator of incidents at client regional offices as directed by CSR

The Ideal Candidate:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering training to security officers
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience managing employees working at remote sites
  • Must possess system manager level training with a minimum of 3 years of experience with integrated access control software, preferably Software House C*Cure 800
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, Business Administration or related field with 3 years of management experience in physical security operations
    • Two years of college credit in Criminal Justice, Business Management, Business Administration or related field with a minimum of 5 years of management experience in physical security operations

  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
