Location: Various in moderate to high risk countries
Start Date: TBD. 6 months minimum
Hiring Terms: Monthly, long term rate. TBC with shortlisted candidates. Competitive salary.
Rotation: Long term position, potentially with benefits, contract, holiday allowance to be confirmed
Likely duration of task: 6 months to multi-year
Travel/Flight Pay Details: To be determined
Some positions will suit those already resident in Latin America in the country of operation

Hiring Criteria:

* English: advanced written AND spoken, with ability to create compelling arguments, detailed documentation, protocols and plans
* Extensive corporate & civil experience in project security planning.
* Extensive project security & safety management experience, working in client facing environment as a Security Manager
* Requires integrated approach working with various stakeholders and corporate departments (CSR, HSE, Operations)
* Spanish language

Preferable Criteria:

* Former experience in facility or corporate security environments
* 5 years minimum military or police (or similar) experience
* 5 years private security experience, to include client facing consultancy
* High standards of planning and operational documentation production
* Relevant industry experience e.g Oil & Gas, mining, construction/engineering, IT etc
* Supply chain experience
* HSE knowledge
* Medical 1st aid qualifications

Job Duties:

* Senior client risk advisory in country, reporting to in-country client management team
* Create & ensure that corporate security directives and guidelines are implemented and complemented by local security instructions if needed.
* Responsible for proper implementation of legal, statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements on security
* Coordinate security activities for all sites related to the client project to include Security Plans & SOPS
* Carry out secure transport oversight as required
* Train Crisis Incident Management Task Forces (CIMTFs)
* Manage security incidents and investigations in accordance with the Security Incident Handling Process and Investigation Framework
* Provide Business Continuity Management (BCM) subject matter expertise and support local implementation and maintenance activities
* Monitor and control costs and quality within the area of security, including outsourced security functions
* Monitor and follow up security installations/solutions in building projects and report deviations to the client and GW
* Drive security awareness activities amongst personnel
