Security Investigator

The Security Investigator will collaborate with the Security Management Team in conducting investigations for North America Supply Chain that will include Fraud, Employee Theft, Cargo Theft and Trailer Pilferage.

**Responsibilities
  • Initiate, conduct and resolve DC and supply chain investigations using reports and information received.
  • Regularly advises Security Management Team of status regarding all investigations in written high level communication
  • Create and maintain partnerships with key external business partners that include 3rd Party Logistic Vendors, Transportation Vendors, Law Enforcement Agencies and Customers.
  • Assist with the development of Security Investigations strategy and long term goals, by identifying opportunities and providing solutions for improvement.
  • Be a resource for investigative knowledge for all Supply Chain LP teams
Qualifications
  • Must be able to perform and deliver results in a fast pace environment
  • Must possess and demonstrative the ability to conduct theft investigations [Experience with Retail Loss Prevention or Distribution Security/Investigations preferred]
  • Must possess and demonstrative the ability to conduct Security/Loss Prevention interviews. [National certified training program preferred (i.e.Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training)]
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to work in a team environment and achieve results
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and set priorities
  • Possess good presentation skills
  • Minimum of two to five years in Loss Prevention/Security Investigations or experience in Security Management with either multiple distribution centers, multi-store investigations or single large volume store investigations experience
  • Have some experience in social media and electronic selling avenues (Instagram, Facebook, Tweeter, EBay and Craigslist)
  • Must possess above average computer skills
