Duties and Responsibilities:
In compliance with the NISPOM, DCID, ICD, and other government regulations, administer routine aspects of the DOD, Intelligence Community, and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Duties include support of both collateral level security programs, intelligence agency programs, and/or special access programs. Primary duties include completion of SF86/Agency nomination packages, completing DD-254 packages, fingerprinting, preparation of visit authorization letters (VALs), use of JPAS, and coordination with customer security representatives to process security clearance requirements. Protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures. Conduct security briefings and conduct security education programs briefings. Investigate losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions. Conduct administration of special security actions and procedures as servicing Personnel Security Officer.
Candidate shall have a demonstrated ability to collect and organize data in a cohesive manner for use in the Security primary database system, SIMS. The candidate must also have experience with personnel security, document and visitor control, and the ability to get along with others. In addition, the candidate must be detail oriented and must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Candidate shall have the ability and flexibility to move from one task to another and to be available for a variety of tasks as the need arises.
- Track and maintain clearances via JPAS.
- Maintain and update PSM NET.
- Initiate security clearance requests and maintain records with company approved database and – - Maintain control logs for classified documents.
- Conduct collateral and intelligence security briefings and debriefings.
- Assist employees / candidates / consultants with completion of security paperwork.
- Coordinate with customers and other government representatives on security issues / actions.
- Create reports and maintain documents / databases to accurately track candidates through the security process from initial clearance and access submission until they are granted a final clearance/approval.
- Provide support and assistance to other CACI and subcontractor personnel at multiple locations throughout the world.
- Track RRU submissions and completions.
- Create/send collateral and program visit requests through JPAS & SIMS
- Submit; maintain agency badge access and renewal authorization.
- Create and update contracts’ Security Classification Specification Documents (DD254s) for affiliated prime and subcontractors.
- Initiate and review clearance actions for personnel requiring access under multiple government contracts and subcontracts.
- Send collateral visit request through JPAS & SIMS, and SCI High Side Systems
- Collect and record security processing metrics.
- Process Foreign Travel/Briefings.
- Create and Program classified area badges.
- Assist with Annual Reviews (Government audits)
- Assist with or manage COMSEC Audits

Required Qualifications: – This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five to seven year’s security-related experience.
- Must have current final Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
- Must have previous industrial security experience and an in-depth knowledge of the NISPOM.
- Must possess practical knowledge of and experience with JPAS, e-QIP, SIMS, Scattered Castles, WINPAK and Smart Search Internal Hiring System.
- Must have experience with personnel security, document and visitor control.
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally with all levels of staff and outside personnel.
- Must have experience in the U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence, or contractor community in security management.

- Completed DSSA course – JPAS/JCAVS Virtual Training For Security Professionals.
- Completed DSSA course – Introduction to Personnel Security.
- Completed DSSA course – Industrial Security Facilities Database (ISFD).
- Completed DSSA course – FSO Role in the NISP.
- Completed DSSA course – Introduction to Industrial Security.
- Completed DSSA course – Essentials of Industrial Security Management.
- Completion of additional DSSA correspondence courses would be a plus.
- Completion of additional Intell Community courses would be a plus.
- Experience with NRO processes.
