Position Description: 
The Global Security Manager will provide leadership in the area of security for Modine’s
global operations. This position will interact with all levels of management across all business units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven success in a dynamic, fast paced environment and show critical thinking, innovation and agility in executing on multiple, complex initiatives. This position is based out of Modine’s headquarters in Racine, WI. The Global Security Manager will provide thoughtful leadership in delivering a holistic, best-in-class Global Security program aimed at mitigating risk, ensuring continuity of operations and safeguarding the company’s assets, reputation and brand.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide quick and comprehensive response to critical security-related incidentsagainst Modine employees or assets.Identify, develop, implement, and maintain company security processes andasset protection measures across all business units to reduce risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure to liability in all areas.Provide expertise, direction and support on all matters relating to physicalsecurity, security risk identification, analysis and integration, productionoperations, security awareness, crisis management, travel security, executivesecurity and investigative matters. Develop and manage creative and cost-effective global security programs and solutions to protect company assets. Draft and implement Global Security policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, and best practices, evaluating enterprise-wide effectiveness and adherence to these measures. Coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of EmergencyResponse Plans, and Crisis Response Plans. Develop and foster relationships between local first responder organizations and Modine facility management in the communities in which Modine operates. Design and maintain training programs on workplace violence, investigations,and other related topics.
  • Manage ongoing analysis of security exposures, evaluate program effectiveness, and develop benchmarking standards and metrics to measure the effectivenessof the Global Security function. Required Qualifications:
ASIS or other appropriate trade association certification Professional experience working in the security function of a multi-site employer (experience in manufacturing and global operations preferred) Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management and across all business units. Clear and concise oral and written communications skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate leadership ability to drive strategy, prioritize and mobilize resources across the Company. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing effective support to all functions and individuals within the corporatestructure.
  • Wise use of discretion with ability to gain trust of business leaders and
  • thers to discuss and respond to sensitive issues. Capable of working independently and in a team environment. Full knowledge of asset protection methodology and implementation, including physical and electronic security protocols. Full knowledge of investigation protocol, including interview techniques, reporting, collection of evidence, and legal requirements. Full knowledge of emergency response planning & execution, crisis management, disaster recovery operations and business continuity. Knowledge of manufacturing industry Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook Above security experience in a global organization preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate security, private security, investigations or related field, preferably in a management role. OR
  • Master’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security, private security, investigations or related field, preferably in a management role.
Travel: Up to 25% Global Travel Required
