Position Decscription:
Raytheon is looking for a candidate that can provide personnel security support and case processing support for Raytheon company. The position will be full-time and is equally split between two functions, security and administrative. The time split between the two functions is flexible and depends on the current tasking on any given day for each function. This position would be at a customer facility and will require daily interaction with customers, senior level managers, as well as other contractors.
The various duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Receiving, reviewing, and processing requests for personnel clearances to include access to classified information, updating computer databases with security clearance information, receiving and processing reports of sensitive information, protecting information on personnel in accordance with the Privacy Act and other applicable Government regulations,
Working with customer personnel for facility badge renewals, site access, and personnel security actions in accordance with the NISPOM,
Supporting a customer information hotline,
Creating templates to be used for presentation of data,
Data entry, data transfer, quality review and product generation based on available documents and obtainable information to meet the needs of the requestor and customer.
Required Skills:
Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent computer skills with proven working knowledge of desktop applications including, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, and ability to learn to use the company security database.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively network and interface with customers and support personnel.
Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner with people at all levels.
Excellent administrative skills including record keeping, preparing reports and the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities and make sound recommendations for process improvements and positive changes to leadership and management.
Basic database administration skills.
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with polygraph (must be crossover eligible)
Desired Skills:
* Prior Industrial Security experience.
* Working knowledge of records management.
* Prior customer service experience.
