Job Summary The role is responsible for managing the security operations at multiple locations within the supply chain and managing a team of two salaried security coordinators while influencing cross-functional leaders at other locations. The manager is ultimately responsible for the quality of contract guard services (>50 contract security officers), physical security programs, emergency response and crisis management programs, at six locations. The manager is expected to understand the operations at each location and to work closely with the site leadership team on identifying potential risks and developing appropriate mitigation strategies

Job Description
Manages the control of corporate assets by planning and instituting security programs to prevent internal or external loss and identify liabilities.
Manages a highly trained security force to respond properly and promptly to any emergency.
Ensures facilities are in compliance with security related regulatory demands wich include but are not limited to C-TPAT and CFATS.
Responsible for managing security audits for assigned sites to ensure compliance with corporate security policy and procedure.
Responsible for implementing all security related training programs including, but not limited to workplace violence mitigation and security awareness.
Maintain an effective relationship with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Develop and enforce regulations regarding the flow of traffic, parking, and access control.
Conducts or assists in security investigations and addresses identified risks / gaps to prevent future recurrence.
Emergency Management
Preserves life, property, and business continuity through development and institution of emergency management plans.
When appropriate, lead site emergency response efforts to restore business operations.
Conduct training on emergency management and crisis management to include semi-annual tabletop exercises.
Coordinate with external resources for support following a site emergency or incident.
Work with all site emergency response teams to ensure a coordinated response during any site incident.

Leadership / Management
Work closely with site leadership for all sites assigned to identify risks and prioritize mitigation efforts.
Set strategy for campus risk mitigation and emergency management plans.
Lead 24/7 Security Operations center to proactively identify and communicate about potential risks to the enterprise. Ensure proper response to any incidents on assigned campuses.
Manage local security team and oversee management of contract security vendor with >1900 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education and experience
Bachelors degree with four years law enforcement, military, or corporate security experience
Two years of prior supervisory experience.
Advanced degree
At least eight years working on a corporate security team in a CPG or similar environment
CPP or similar certification
Experience working in a unionized plant environment.
Skills and knowledge
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of physical security systems capabilities and limitations
Customer service mindset.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and appropriately adjust priorities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple partners and stakeholders
Knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS)
Knowledge of access control and video surveillance systems.
Strong understanding of basic physical security fundamentals and principles.
Knowledge of life safety systems.
Knowledge of security officer operations to include foot and vehicle patrol techniques
Extensive knowledge of report writing and report review.
Knowledge of confined space rescue.
Prior experience working in and supporting Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (C-FATS) and other regulatory compliance environments.
Other requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have flexibility to work on a non-standard work schedule as required.
