Directly responsible for maintaining a viable extensive security program/staff and proactive preventive maintenance program for 2 large production facility (161,000 sq ft and 80,000 sq ft). Directly responsible for the interviewing/selection of a comprehensive vendor support base. This includes maintenance of all security CPU’s/CCTV cameras (144 cameras) including software/hardware (12+DVR’s), all heating and air conditioning, as well as maintenance and repair of building/security equipment.
The Job
• Report directly to VP/GM as Safety Site coordinator for DFW for ALL safety related issues. Monthly reports submitted to Corporate per requested guidelines. Work closely with Corporate Safety Manager and Workmans Comp coordinator.
• Report directly to VP/GM as the plan coordinator for the Business Continuity Plan (BC Plan),
vulnerability analysis (VA), Roll Over Site Planning and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for both DFW and DF2.
• Spill response coordinator for both DFW and DF2 reporting directly to PB Corporate. Also plan, organize and document all field training for facility responders at both Texas sites. Maintain/submit Emergency Generator Permit by Rule Recordkeeping to PB Corporate for site audit inspections monthly.
• Tier II coordinator for ALL Texas sites for reporting hazardous waste storage/use. Submit Annual Tier II reports to State of Texas with all required documentation.
• Responsible for DFW/DF2 waste disposal thru Corporate Waste select vendors.
• Responsible for all site audits regarding facility and security for Corporate, clients and landlord.
• Evaluate maintenance needs and determine if appropriate to repair in-house or outsource.
• Accept/compare bids and coordinate HVAC repairs/inspections for 52 RTU’s with vendors as needed.
• Coordinate HVAC maintenance including filter replacement and board resets.
• Supervise repair and maintenance of lighting and plumbing systems.
• Responsible for operating within a department budget with regard to the expenses for security/facility supplies, custodial/operating supplies, electricity, gas, water, and sewer.
• Prepares & reconciles PO’s to receipts and invoices for all facility supplies & services.
• Responsible for ensuring that facilities, CCTV cameras, alarm/access system and equipment are kept in good operating order.
• Work with production and management personnel to facilitate a team-work approach by combining the expertise and manpower of all departments for the completion of a project or projects.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with PBPS clients and USPS personnel.
Requirements
• College degree or equivalent work experience from an accredited College or Technical School and/or five years verifiable experience as an Operations/Security/Facilities Manager.
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Able to work safely and abide by safety rules/regulations.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety roles, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
