Sotera Defense Solutions is seeking candidates with experience as a Junior Watch Intelligence Analyst. We deploy innovative analytical tools and subject matter experts to facilitate faster and more thorough analysis of threats for critical intelligence-related, federal law enforcement, homeland security and counterterrorism missions, and we enable information to be shared across multiple agencies. By integrating key data sources and exploring direct and non-obvious relationships of interest, our solutions support collaboration and information sharing and threat detection, all to ensure the mitigation of risks to our national security.

The Junior Watch Intelligence Analyst will:
Provide analytic support to a 24/7/365 watch center
­Conduct current intelligence research and analysis across open-source and classified information platforms, focusing on indicators and warnings of threats, infrastructure protection, border security, and cyber-security;
­Maintain operational awareness of key resources and flows of information;
Use IC-derived best practices to work independently on complex problems in all phases of intelligence/law enforcement analysis;
Triage information and prepare analytical assessments to provide strategic and operational support to decision-making;
Coordinate as needed with representatives of other government agencies and participate as required in multidisciplinary working groups;
Write reports under tight time-lines and strict guidelines;
Brief senior client leadership on intelligence matters relative to Departmental priorities;
Includes shift work.

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI level security clearance.

Requirements:
3+ years' experience or a Bachlor's degree
Experience and/or education must indicate knowledge of one or more intelligence topics pertaining to homeland security, including (but not limited to) the intelligence cycle, counter-terrorism, threat monitoring, infrastructure, cyber-security, border security;
Ability to work in 24/7/365 watch floor environment;
Previous Watch floor experience is a plus;
All-source analytical experience in the IC;
Strong writing skills and attention to detail;
Must be able to brief and convey salient information accurately and concisely;
Researching and data mining in intelligence databases;
Strong ability to collaborate with analysts throughout the IC;
Desired: 12 - 18 month commitment to position

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI level security clearance.
