Job Description:


Manage all operational and administrative functions of a 24/7 Security Operations Center supporting global operations.

Responsible for security operations related to Global Crisis Management, Emergency Response, Business Continuity, International Security, National Industrial Security Program, Command Center operations and Site Protection
Reviews and implements operational procedures to satisfy constantly evolving security and emergency response requirements
Establishes and implements quality control, self-inspection, and exercise and evaluation programs
Establishes training plans and standardization/evaluation criteria for position qualifications and certifications
Conducts crisis response training exercises; integrating the Harris Crisis Management Team and local Incident Management Teams
Responsible for monitoring and reporting of worldwide personnel threat levels and events of interest
Responsible for incident notification to employees impacted by an event or crisis and tracking accountability and response
Responsible for tracking employees traveling to high risk locations via enterprise wide shared service provider
Responsible for interfacing, planning, and tracking private security provider missions for Harris employees in high risk locations
Interface with U.S. State Department and Embassy Regional Security Officers (RSOs) for updated threat and recommendation information

Responsible for Security Command Center Operations and Site Security including:
Operation and administration of a Government Contractor Monitoring Station, monitoring and responding to UL certified Intrusion Detection Systems IAW the NISP
Operation and administration of Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Video Management Systems
Ensuring operators properly respond to and initiate action related to intrusion detection system alarms and access control systems as required by government industrial security requirements, fire alarm systems, and environmental monitoring and alerting systems
Ensuring operators properly respond to and initiate action related to, and coordinate emergency response with local law enforcement, fire and medical emergency services during emergency situations
Oversee the generation and tracking of security systems, maintenance and repair work orders
Oversight of site security and contract guard force

Responsible for the production and dissemination of daily status briefs & daily summary reports to Senior Management.

Participates in Security Center of Excellence and International Security Working Groups and Councils.

Interfaces with Program Security Managers, Senior Security Managers, Physical & Technical Security, Guard Force, Facilities Management, and other operations support functions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Six (6) or more years related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in a Tactical Operations Center, Operations Center Watch Officer, Command Post Operations, or similar Operations Center experience
Experience in international security operations
Involvement in organizations such as Overseas Advisory Council (OSAC)
Active TS/SCI clearance
Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, is imperative
Ability to collect large amounts of data and summarize during stressful situations; allowing leadership to make decisions
Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization, sometimes under stress
