Overview:
The Whitestone Group, Inc., an industry leading security company providing services to the federal government is seeking a Physical Security Specialist I, II, and III for a multiple task order contract.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
Demonstrated ability to develop programs of action and milestones and to develop and meet budget and schedules; thorough knowledge of equipment common in the physical security environment, such as CCTV, Passive Infrared devices (PIRs), access control systems, intrusion detection systems, combination locks, etc.; knowledge of sound attenuation principles and compensatory actions; knowledge of DoD Regulations 5200.1, Appendix 7, and 5208; knowledge of DoD Manual5105.21-M-1; ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal forms.
Qualifications:
Specialist I
Experience and Education:
Four (4) or more years supervising three or more people in the performance of physical security functions in a classified DoD environment.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in security or a related field, such as law enforcement.
Salary: $70,000.00
Specialist II
Experience and Education:
Two (2) or more years in the performance of physical security functions in a classified DoD environment.
Associate's degree, preferably in security or a related field, such as law enforcement.
Salary: $68,000.00
Specialist III
Experience and Education:
Six (6) or more years supervising three or more people in the performance of physical security functions in a classified DoD environment.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in security or a related field, such as law enforcement.
Salary: $75,000.00
Additional Requirements ALL positions:
Must be a US Citizen
At least 21 years of age
Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen and a federal background investigation
Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
Skills and Training:
Successful completion of NSA approved courses of instruction in COMSEC Custodian, Local Management Device/Key Processor, Data Transfer Device (DTD), Red/Black Separation, and Fundamentals of TEMPEST; successful completion of ICD 705 or DCID 6/9 course.
