Responsibilities:
Under the operational control of the on-site Task Lead, the employee will provide communications training support to the Marine Special Operations School to include developing and maintaining web pages and databases associated with monitoring training, developing and maintaining lesson plans, conducting classes locally or virtually, developing and reviewing draft training, doctrine and operational publications, producing training and education support materials, and reviewing and maintaining the SOF Joint Mission Essential Task List (JMETL).
Place of Performance is the Marine Special Operations School (MSOS), MARSOC, Camp Lejeune, NC. Travel is required. The employee will be required to travel (CONUS) for an estimated 3 trips annually, 28 days each trip.
This is a temporary position (4 to 6 months ends July 1, 2015) with a possibility of becoming permanent.
Qualifications:
An equivalent of a Bachelor degree (education or related technical field) and two to four years experience. Eight years of directly relevant experienc emay be substituted for degree.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
MSOS S-6 requires a contractor team with the expert knowledge of instructing and evaluating the utilization of computer applications and radio procedures, field expedient antenna employment, operation of the CYZ-10 Data Transfer Device, AN/PRC-148, AN/PRC-117 and AN/PRC-150 tactical radios.
Information Assurance: Employee must have Network+ or Security+ certification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint)
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Individual(s) supporting this task will be cleared at the Secret level at the start of the task. Employee will require access to both NIPRNET and SIPRNET (SCAMPI) computer systems at Government facilities.
