SCIF Security Specialist

Job Requirements:
The Security Specialist requires at least ten (10) years of experience managing a SCIF. Bachelors Degree is required. Top Secret security clearance required.

Job Duties:
Responsible for assisting the JRO Detachment Sergeant to create and maintain an excellent level
of personnel and physical security for the JRO’s assigned Pentagon spaces and staff. JRO’s
assigned Pentagon spaces include three (3) Special Compartmented Information (SCI) Facilities
(SCIFs). The Security Specialist prepares Joint Staff badge requests for both Government and
Contractor staff; submits collateral and SCI visit requests to outside organizations for both
Government and Contractor staff; maintains the JRO’s Security Access Roster, which is separate
from the Joint Staff’s; and provides access control to the JRO’s Pentagon spaces.
