Security Specialist – D.C. Metro Area IMMEDIATE POSITION AVAILABLE: Security Specialist w/ Active TS/SCI, able to complete favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
Must be subject matter expertise in processing and tracking clearance nominations/requests; experience querying Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Integrated Security Management System (ISMS), and Scattered Castles. Assist processing clearance lists for State/Local Program Office, Homeland Security Advisor, Fusion Center Director conferences nationwide; process Permanent clearance Certifications, 11000-25 New Request, Contract Change, and Exit Requests for contactor employees. Manage/update Derivative Classification & Marking Recertification training course and Database. Teach DHS Headquarters Contract Suitability training course to Contract Company Security Representatives and Contracting Officer Representatives (Federal employees). Assist teaching OPSEC Security training course to federal and contractor employees. Minimum four (4) years experience.
Proficient in communications, oral and written, and experience in interviewing and conducting briefings. Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS, possess valid US Passport.
Flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).
