Personnel Security Team Lead

Key Role:
Provide management oversight for a clearance processing team that supports the corporate headquarters and the Security Shared Services Center and manage a staff of personnel security specialists in the performance of their duties and career growth and development. Manage routine processes and projects, establish priorities, sequence work, determine resource requirements, and build and maintain trusted relationships across the firm. Apply in-depth knowledge of security clearance and related processes to support the firm’s business initiatives and demonstrate a broad knowledge and comprehension of personnel security directives, including EOs, NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and other governing doctrine. Leverage familiarity with security practices within industry and government and the knowledge to interpret policies and communicate them to a broader audience. Interact with various government agencies and all levels of client staff concerning clearance processing issues and assist the facility security officer with performing overall security functions and preparing for annual inspections. Demonstrate ownership of delivering quality work to internal and external clients. Promote collaboration by sharing information and ideas with others and by assisting others with solution designs, problems, and overall work objectives.
 
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with leadership and management of security teams
-Experience with other security disciplines, including information and physical and their relationship to personnel security
-Knowledge of JCAVS, eQIP, SWFT, and People Soft
-Knowledge of NISPOM, DoD directives, EOs, and ICDs
-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree and 7+ years of experience with personnel and industrial security or 10+ years of experience with personnel and industrial security in lieu of a degree
-Completion of the Personnel Security Management and Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication DSS courses
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with a case management system or call center-Knowledge of the government classified contract process
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent organization and interpersonal skills
-TS/SCI clearance preferred
 
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
