Job description
Immediate opening for a full-time Security Operations Branch Manager in our Philadelphia
location. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the Philadelphia, and South Jersey areas.
Qualifications include: a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the contracted security guard business; and a high school diploma (degree is a plus); excellent verbal and written communication skills; Intermediate to proficient Excel and Word Office skills. In addition, this individual must possess a valid driver’s license (minimal travel required) and a clean criminal background.
The Security Branch Manager will troubleshoot client issues and resolve a multitude of security guard related problems. The Branch Manager will also conduct consistent, periodic client quality assurance checks both by phone and during frequent client site visits.
This individual will be responsible to oversee the recruiting, training and scheduling of all security personnel. He/She she will manage, control and directly oversee all functions of the on-site Human Resources Coordinator and all Scheduling Personnel, in addition to Vehicular Field Supervisors, and a seven day a week dispatch team.
The duties also include: conducting reviews and implementing corrective action processes within the unit; working with the HR Coordinator to assemble and defend unemployment and worker’s compensation claims; overseeing the maintenance and control of company vehicles, company assets, uniforms and operational office duties; reviewing reports, timekeeping record, logbooks, site documentation and billing issues. The drafting and revising of site procedures is another major responsibility of the Director of Operations.
