Responsibilities:
Coordinates security programs and operations at the Americas Technical Center in Akron, OH. Maintains electronic security and life safety systems. Responds to and investigates work-place related incidents. Functions as a medical first responder. Coordinates and communicates with local emergency services and city services. Coordinates notification to responsible management personnel during emergency situations. Prepares written documentation related to incidents, complaints, investigations, and audits/assessments. Coordinates services with on-site contract security staff. Provides security support to Bridgestone Motorsports and other proprietary company programs and provides security support at company events. Assists in providing executive protection and other security duties approved by management, including travel to off-site locations. Shift to be determined dependent on department needs.

Qualifications:
2 years corporate security experience or 4 years military experience or 2 years law enforcement experience. Desired: 4 – 6 years’ corporate security experience with a military or law enforcement background, or associate degree in a related field. Graduate of a certified OPOTA academy.
