Job Description:
All Security Officers must be able to: Maintain access control on our 5 points of entry into our facility. Have the necessary physical ability to perform walking patrols of the EB facility. This includes, but is not limited to: climbing ladders, entering confined spaces, use of elevators, standing extended periods of time, conduct vehicular patrols of the perimeter, conduct security checks of our off-site facilities, maintain access control of our internal access points, have and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license, obtain and retain a local and state pistol permit and a State of CT Security Guard Firearms endorsement and work in all weather and industrial environments applicable to Electric Boat.
Required Education/Training:
Required Education/Training within previous 5 years: Military, Law Enforcement.

Applicant must have related experience within the previous five (5) years in either a military or security field and/or a college/university degree in an applicable field. Must be 21 years of age.
 
Unique/Additional Requirements:
CT State pistol permit desired.
CT Boating certificate desired.

CAC Site Security Manager

Provide contractor Identification Card Administration to Government clients as a PART-TIME DEERS/RAPIDS Site Security Manager at the base or site level. Duties include: The SSM acts as the site POC for RAPIDS-related matters Responsible for managing the security of RAPIDS workstations that are under his/her purview.  Act as the primary site POC for RAPIDS-related matters.
