Protective Services Human Performance / Corrective Action Coordinator

Summary & Responsibilities:
In this role, the incumbent will: maintain Protection Services fleet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Serves as Correction Action Coordinator by maintaining Corrective Action Program for Protection Services through the station Corrective Action Program, ensures assignments are made and completed on time. Assign actions, monitor progress, ensure detailed assignments have been adequately addressed and follow on assignments have been initiated if requested. Provide assistance and guidance in the completion of Corrective Actions.  Attends station Condition Report Review Team meetings daily to ensure assignments of Corrective Actions are appropriate. Screen/determine
appropriate actions for Protection Services Corrective Actions; if other Departments are involved obtain concurrence for Corrective Action assignments and work with other departments to ensure effective Corrective Actions. Speaks to and accepts assignments on behalf of Protection Services Managers. Serves as Self Assessment and Benchmarking Coordinator conducts and assists in informal and formal self assessments as required by the station. Assist other sites in the fleet with self assessments. Investigate and report on all Human Performance events. Develops Human Performance clock reset for distribution to the fleet.  Prepares required Department Self Evaluation Meeting presentations and coordinates monthly meetings – Update Attachment 2 (Cognitive Binning Tool) and Attachment 9 (Adverse Performance Tracking Worksheet GAPs to Excellence, Performance Improvement and Monitoring Items) Complete (Department Self Evaluation Meeting report).Reviews all industry and station Operating Experience and distributes appropriately.  Maintains and updates station KPIs. Tracks and trends Corrective Actions to ensure adequate oversight and actions are maintained to comply with NRC requirements. Ensures issues are documented in CRS. Support Force on Force drills as required. Reviews Security Procedures. Attends station Human Performance Coordinator meetings and Department Corrective Action Coordinator meetings.   Maintain Department Corrective Action Coordinator qualifications.  Mentor Apparent Cause Evaluation evaluators for ACE qualified status. Provide guidance and support for Human Performance Department Coordinator/Department Corrective Action Coordinator back ups. Complete reports based on information received from Performance Improvement Review Committee (PIRC) meetings.  Assist in preparation for the Station Self Evaluation Meeting (SSEM). Enter data in Station Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Security Loggable Events spreadsheet. Assist with the review of the Security Audit Determination Program. Monitor work observation data for potential trends and value added.

Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years minimum of related nuclear security experience OR corrective action program management experience OR Bachelor’s degree in related field.


Applicants should also possess the following: knowledge of Human Performance improvement, security concepts and operations, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as problem solving skills, ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, classroom presentation skills and computer/electronic presentation skills.
