Whelan Security is looking for a talented and driven leader to manage our service in San Jose, CA.
Whelan Security is a performance-based company that cares deeply about maintaining our conservative business culture.  The Security Services Manager position is expected to be the senior manager of Whelan’s assigned security team and as such, has global oversight for all security service delivery requirements stated in the SOW.  The Security Services Manager has accountability for strategic operation's scope of service. This person will be responsible for the administration, coordination, planning, development,
direction and implementation of projects and initiatives which reflect the client’s core objectives and is designed to establish a pattern of collaboration that will enhance and improve the partnership between Whelan and the client . A key part of this partnership activity is for the Security Services Manager and the client to routinely consult on the needs, priorities and opportunities to deliver greater value in the performance of the security team.

• Develop and maintain a strategic service delivery program which meets standards and goals for all geographies regarding operation objectives, service delivery strategies and ongoing methodologies for constant customer and employee satisfaction
 
• Assist with contract compliance across all Client locations covered under the SOW
 
• Provide a standardized program, which ensures a consistency of service standards, tools, and best practices throughout all  primary Client locations covered under the SOW
 
• Responsible for facilitating global communication in order to oversee the standardization of post orders, training standards, operating procedures, invoicing, terminology, and quality compliance
 
• Identify service improvements and efficiencies throughout the operation and communicate these opportunities and recommendations to the client
 
• Ensure Whelan's core values are aligned with Client needs
 
• Ensure that quality, accuracy, responsiveness, and integrity is being delivered to all internal and external customers
 
• Maintain all required portfolio contracts and agreements
 
• Ensure that all Whelan personnel are empowered in order to successfully meet their objectives
 
• Assist in overall Client security functions as mutually agreed upon by the parties
 
• Knowledgeable of all Client policies and procedures

Other Requirements : 
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (10 years in managerial role)
• Must be able to work flexible schedules
• May require quarterly travel.
