Safety and Security Manager

Job Description
The Safety & Security Coordinator will be focused on keeping our employees and our operations free from danger; all while helping the Facilities team maintain a functional, fun, and unique work environment. This role is responsible for leading a physical security team at headquarters as well as overseeing a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
  • Manage all day-to-day safety & security operations including but not limited to guard team, GSOC, life safety, events.
  • Develop both preventative and reactive security protocols.
  • Develop a physical security program that serves as an amenity to all employees worldwide and supports their needs.
  • Investigate incidents and provide well-articulated reports, briefings, and after action recommendations.
  • Develop a network of security vendors at all of our locations around the world.
  • Develop an Employee Travel Security Program.
  • Be an active leader of the Safety Team.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners such as IT, Legal, Food, Finance, Real Estate, Ground Control, and the EA team.
  • Support a variety of events at HQ.
  • Manage Ergonomics program and other safety initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years’ experience in physical security in a headquarter environment, ideally in technology or creative environments
  • 3+ years’ experience leading a operational team
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • CPP or PSP certification through ASIS highly preferred
  • CPR/AED Instructor credentials high preferred
  • Desire to wow your customers with each interaction
  • Familiarity with global security systems preferred
  • Experience with scaling security operations
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively cross-functionally
  • Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit a must
  • Proven skills in incident response
