Head Of Security

CLEAR’s Head of Security will oversee all operational security matters and will ensure companywide excellence in security execution and strategy. Candidate will also serve as CLEAR’s liaison to external security stakeholders, including both local and national TSA offices. Security is at CLEAR’s core therefore this is a mission-critical role.

Essential Functions 
Develop, document and directly oversee CLEAR’s operational security policies

Maintain industry leading best practices on all security issues
Perform CLEAR’s auditing process to ensure company-wide compliance
Develop and maintain excellent relations with external security stakeholders, including local and national TSA and airport security teams
Oversee administration of CLEAR’s Airport Security Plans (ASPs) at each airport
Partner with internal stakeholders such as Operations and Human Resources to ensure a culture of enhanced employee security awareness at all levels
Build new security protocols as CLEAR enters new, non-aviation verticals
This position will not include responsibility for cyber-security, although will require collaboration with CLEAR’s technology group to be successful
 
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience of security leadership experience with TSA or similar governmental entity, or security leadership experience in aviation security, law enforcement, public safety, physical security or the Military
Hands-on operational experience working directly with hourly workforce
Experience working closely with government officials, airport executives, business managers and other security stakeholders
Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, develop schedules and milestones and formulate and evaluation plans
Experience with evaluating situations, making decisions, and reacting quickly and calmly in emergency situations
Ability to travel as needed to stay connected to our national team
