Explosive Ordnance Disposal Exercise Specialist

Description:
Provide EOD and Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) exercise support to the 20th CBRNE Command.  Serve as the Senior Exercise Specialist for WTI, EOD and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosives (CBRNE) for the Command and the subordinate units to include scheduling, coordinating, planning and conducting the exercises; research and provide WTI and EOD technical and tactical information regarding Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), devices and weapons threats in order to incorporate them into exercise scenarios; plan and write exercise scenarios, Master Event Scenario Lists (MESLs), simulations, instructions and injects for exercises; serve as a
WTI and EOD Observer Controller (OC) and Observer Trainer (OT) for exercises; write and conduct After Action Reviews (AARs); serve as an exercise White Cell member and generate enemy and friendly activities and missions based on MESLs.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal is required.
  • Sergeant First Class or Major or higher (or Service equivalent) is preferred.
  • U.S. citizen required; must have/obtain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Must have at least 15 years of EOD experience with service in Iraq or Afghanistan.
  • Previous assignment to the 20th CBRNE Command is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, CIDNE, CPOF, DCGS-A, WEAT and Warfare Simulation systems.
  • Must be willing to travel 50%.
